Lennox Is Twenty One Weeks Old

Lennox gained 900g in the last week and weighed 17.65kg on the vet’s scale this morning (scuse the blurry photo, I had Riddick on the leash as well).
He’s getting 210g Bob Martin puppy food TWICE a day now, so he’s not getting lunch anymore. This is a month earlier than I would have stopped his lunch, but he’s not finishing his food at every meal so he clearly doesn’t need it.

Car travel continues to go well, he’s eager to “jump in” and “jump out” of the car and he listens when I say “wait” when I open the door. As soon as the car is moving he goes to sleep, and once this week he climbed into the backseat and was quite happy back there.

His obedience training is going well, we do a couple of short sessions a day. Walking is going really well, he’s still pulling a little but now only when he gets excited about another dog or something. He is learning to ignore the other dogs we pass, and our walks are getting longer and longer. We continue to work on “down” and “stay”.

Puppy class this week was a group walk at Lonehill Shopping Centre. Puppies in attendance – Lenny, Lennox, London, Lola and Libby, Swiss Shepherd Gem, Lab pups Gemma and Gyro, yellow Lab Ginger and Sable Shepherd Kai.

Lennox and I continue to visit the Pick n Pay near us, with our trips getting progressively longer as he grows up.

And now, a little bit of gratuitous puppy cuteness for your enjoyment!

Stay tuned for a weekly update!
